Attention all Field Trip Attendees!

Please make sure I have your signed field trip forms or you will not be allowed to go on the trip to the Crime in Miami Exhibit on Thursday, 05/27. Also, please bring a bagged lunch. We will not be stopping to purchase any food or drinks on the trip. I will be bringing a cooler to place the bags in to keep the lunches fresh, if necessary. Write your name on the outside of the bag to avoid confusion. And use common sense! Please do not bring anything that needs to be microwaved! A sandwich,lunchables, chips, fruit, drinks, etc. are good examples of what to bring.

AP Psych Students: Test tomorrow!

Attention AP Psych students: You must report to your testing room tomorrow immediately after lunch. DO NOT go to 6th period. You need to be in your testing room by the time the late bell rings at 12:30pm. Remember that the test will run past 2:30pm and that you will need to make other arrangements for pick-up if you go home on a bus. You will most likely be testing until about 3:30pm. Good luck! I will try to go see you all before you begin tomorrow! ;)

Broca’s area contains the speech controls

the hypothalamus keeps homeostasis stable

the brain is a complex feature
a part of all sorts of creatures
in psychology, it is studied
and it’s the reason for some teachers

the spinal cord carries information
the medulla runs the autonomic functions

the cerebellum deals with movement and alertness
in the hind brain while the pons control consciousness

the corpus callosum connects two hemispheres
